Allergy Testing Time
Ugh, have had allergies ( too many to list) all my life....and it's been 12-15 years since I had a battery of skin tests done to see which ones I'm still allergic to. So, I have decided it'd be best if I did it again. Not fun. I hate being allergic!!

Wow.....just....WOW! RIP Michael Jackson and Farah Fawcett
I can't believe it still, they're both gone. His music was awesome and I will always love it, and Farah I will never forget her in Charlie's Angels. She was a beautiful person.
May they both Rest In Peace.
I hope the rumors of him dying from a drug overdose ( enabled by people in his life) isn't true. So sad.

RIP Neda!
I have been touched by yet another senseless killing.
I still can't shake the chill I got when I heard about Neda Agha-Soltan a 26 year old Iranian woman. Then I saw the video that shows her dying, and I teared up for Neda, her family and friends. It is sickening to think this woman died this way! She did nothing wrong, she was innocent, she had her whole life ahead of her. As far as
I can tell, from what I've read, it was BECAUSE of the rigged elections in Iran that she started protesting and as a result, gunned down. If the elections had been FAIR, this would probably never happened.
In case you haven't heard, here is the story (not the video, I won't post the video, it's too sad) .
I will warn everyone that if you have access to the video (which is all over the internet), you had better have a strong stomach, as the video shows her dying moments after she is shot and is heart wrenching. When I hear of people dying in the middle east, it saddens me deeply.
I think there are people in the world who don't even give it a 2nd thought when they hear of the killings in the middle east, it's old news to them hearing that. Not to me, it affects me. I can't imagine not having freedom, not having the rights we have here in the USA. The USA isn't perfect, and we are hated by some because of the choices our government has made, but people here DO care!
I pray for the Iranian people, that they achieve freedom, I pray for Neda's family and friends, that their good memories of Neda when she was alive will help them through this and that if anything comes of what happened to her, it's change in Iran. How DARE THEY say this was a staged event, she died!
If I was able to say something to the Iranian people or anyone who is living in Iran it would be this: DON'T GIVE UP! Don't let them silence you! Yes, I am an American.....and I care. I feel for the Iranian people.
Rest In Peace Sweet Neda, I won't forget you and the things I've read about you when you were living and the fact you should have never been killed most of all.

Container Gardens ROCK!
We're going to use container gardens again this year. Pop 'em on the deck, put in dirt, plant the seeds or plants, water and away we go! Broccoli, cauliflower, cherry tomatoes and carrots are the plan.
SUCH fun!
SUCH fun!
